• The president-elect must be a fellow of AMWA, must have held at least 2 different positions on the Executive Committee (EC) in the past, must have served on the EC for a minimum of 2 full years, and must be a current member of the EC when his or her name is being considered by the Nominating Committee.
   
• The secretary must have served in at least 2 different positions on the EC within the 5 years immediately preceding his or her consideration by the Nominating Committee, and must be a fellow of AMWA.
   
• The treasurer is the chief financial officer of AMWA and must have served at least 1 full year on the Budget and Finance Committee within the 5 years preceding his or her consideration by the Nominating Committee. It is also desirable for the treasurer to have served on the EC before assuming the office of treasurer.
