AMWA’s Membership Newsletter January 2012 Welcome to the first 2012 edition of the AMWA Update. A new year often leads to the
creation of a resolution list. Did you make any New Year’s resolutions? At
AMWA Headquarters, our resolution is to enhance the AMWA member experience
and help you make the most of your AMWA membership. Whether your resolution
is to finally complete that AMWA certificate, or simply enhance your knowledge:
the AMWA education programs have something to help you reach your goals. If
you have resolved to get more involved in the community, AMWA has networking
and volunteer opportunities to connect you with the people you need to know.
Perhaps 2012 will be the year you win an AMWA award, present an open session
at conference, or get a new job. This AMWA Update offers information on reaching those goals. What are your
2012 resolutions, and how can AMWA help you to attain them? NEW Pocket TRAINING! CREATING YOUR OWN PODCAST Podcasting is a great way for medical communicators to improve

Presentations are designed to allow medical communicators to share their
recent innovations, advances, and discoveries related to the profession. AMWA
is particularly interested in posters that report study designs and results
of empirical research in medical communication (eg,
in language, learning, value of the profession) or that share innovative
responses to challenges and opportunities faced by medical communicators.
Posters are for educational purposes only and must not promote any products
or services. For more information, please visit our Web site, Call for Poster
Presentations. Your AMWA curriculum record now

entered into the curriculum records of those conference attendees enrolled in
