AMWA in Social Media

AMWA intends to use social media channels to disseminate information of benefit to medical communicators and to create public forums in which medical communicators can professionally discuss their field and share opinions. AMWA expects all users, including, but not limited to, AMWA’s staff, members of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, social media committee, and other AMWA representatives, subcontractors or volunteers, acting on behalf of AMWA to adhere to its social media guidelines to maintain professional and ethical standards when using these social media channels.

AMWA also hosts a discussion group on LinkedIn. This group is open to both members and non-members.
