A very common struggle associated with medical writing (as well as with other occupations) is procrastination. We know as professionals that procrastinating is a “flaw” and unprofessional, and that procrastination frequently leads to disasters associated with last-minute efforts. Procrastination also contributes to self-esteem and anxiety issues in medical writers. But what is procrastination? What causes it? Why does it happen? And most importantly, what can we do about it?

At the conclusion of this webinar, learners will be able to

  • Identify underlying causes of procrastination
  • Develop coping mechanisms to combat procrastination
  • Learn how to procrastinate effectively (really)

Learning Level: Basic

Content Areas: Practical Skills, Productivity
