About the Presenters
Dr Beth Lesher is an Associate Director in the Strategic Market Access Center of Excellence at Pharmerit International in Bethesda, Maryland. Pharmerit International is one of the leading global health economics, outcomes research and market access consulting firms. Researchers at Pharmerit conduct a wide range of health economic and outcomes research, strategic market access research, and pricing and reimbursement research to inform local, national, and international decision makers in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, device, and diagnostic and nutrition companies; government bodies; and private organizations involved in the delivery and financing of health care. Dr Lesher has more than 25 years of clinical pharmacy expertise and medical writing experience. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completed a critical care residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
Catherine O’Connor Mirvis is a Senior Communications Analyst in the Bethesda, MD, office of Pharmerit International, one of the leading global health economics, outcomes research, and market access consulting firms. Ms Mirvis completed an undergraduate research internship in molecular biology at the National Cancer Institute and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Maryland. She has more than 4 years of publications experience and her primary focus at Pharmerit is writing and submitting manuscripts in a variety of therapeutic areas. She has also written and edited global value and AMCP dossiers, literature reviews, abstracts, posters, and slide decks, and developed internal communications training for scientists in Pharmerit’s US offices.
