Workplace burnout is something we all need to be aware of, on an individual level and when leading a team. It occurs when the demands we face outstrip the resources we have to meet them. Challenges that were formerly manageable feel insurmountable. Some of us can feel it coming on, especially if we have experienced it in the past, and think things through before taking action. Others wake up one day and decide they have had enough. Self-awareness can help those of us in the latter group so that we do not make desperate, regretful, or hasty decisions.
This webinar is designed to enhance this self-awareness by describing who is most susceptible to burnout and identifying potential signs in yourself and your colleagues. Causes and consequences of burnout and how to take action—with immediate as well as long-term solutions—will also be presented. Lastly, discover how to prevent workplace burnout, as an employee and as a manager.
At the conclusion of this webinar, learners will be able to
- Recognize signs of burnout
- Identify people who are most susceptible to burnout
- Implement solutions to address burnout
- Describe ways to prevent burnout in themselves and in their employees
