Theresa Singleton to Receive 2025 President's Award

The President's Award is given by the AMWA president to a member of AMWA who has made distinctive contributions to the association at the chapter or national level.

Theresa Singleton, PhD, is a freelance medical communicator specializing in publications and plain language writing and editing. She has been the Owner and Principal Scientific Writer at Singleton Science, LLC since 2013. Theresa has made extensive contributions to AMWA and has been an active volunteer for many years. She was a 2021 AMWA Fellow and most recently served on the Nominating Committee from 2019 to 2024. She has served in leadership positions at the chapter and national level, including as President of the New England chapter and on the Board of Directors. Theresa has also presented at the annual conference and served as a peer reviewer for the AMWA Journal.
